An Idea for BG III

Post by Fymious »

Dear Gamers;

I have an idea what could be Baldur’s Gate III. You have two different stories one would be if your character has become a God and the main goal is to defeat Cyric (since he is still the God of Murder). You pick up where you left off from Throne of Bhaal AKA import character and the solar acts as your consort to guide you through your adventures. Or if your character chose to be mortal, your character sees what becomes of your companions such as Minsc, Anomen, Jaheria, etc... and you actually witness their ultimate fate. The last quest would be with the character Imoen or the one that you romanced. What do you think gamers?

P.S.
I'm defending my Thesis Proposal DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS AND ITS INTERACTIONS WITH DRAMATIC WRITING PRINCIPLES INVOLVING CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Now, the base idea sounds interesting, but there is one drawback on it: To play BG3 you must also own BG2 and ToB and have finished both.

But, this problem could be avoided by giving change to select while creating a character wether your character is mortal or not. And if player have character from BG2 ToB, it could of course be used...

I have every Baldur's Gate sequel except for TotSC, I am able to import chars. It sound like a good plan...:mischief:

Closed Thread

This thread is redundant, and its responses have not added to the discussion. There is already a thread where ideas for a possible BG3 have been discussed; many of those ideas are similar to this. I am closing this thread and refer readers to http://www.gamebanshee.com/forums/baldurs-gate-iii-79/what-would-you-wish-on-baldurs-gate-3-a-49292.html
That there; exactly the kinda diversion we coulda used.
