I'm afraid you're thinking of your own encounter with that 15-year-old in Portsmouth. Don't worry, only the GameBanshee membership knows, and we won't tell. Of course.
Bah! I knew my constant quoting of you wouldn't lead to a pretty end (it didn't start pretty either). Back to the cave I go, to lick my wounds.

In memorian: Fiona; Ravager; Lestat; Phreddie; and all of those from the 1500 incident. Lest we forget.

We also won't address where those wounds are, or the fact that you're licking them on a webcam. We're discreet, we are.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

It's times like these I wish I were an Atheist, then I wouldn't have to be harassed while trying to rest.
And DM, you're not helping.
Oh, and Fable, I read that review. Thanks for the heads up, it seems that I won't get it afterall, the whole thing that put me off a few years back, about being open-ended and much more immersive, is what I like now. I guess a few years back I was that target market they are referring to, and sure enough I didn't like the bits they cut out. Now, they make the game great, so I'll be sticking with Morrowind.
If I pay you a nickel, can I steal that punchline?

Wouldnt be stealing would it?
And as for your fire, you might want to start reining it in, before you know it there'll be a bit of a wildfire starting in NJ with Fable Jr.'s running 'round. And, health conscious as you are, the heart might not appreciate that which the body loves.

If God did not exist, it would be necessary to invent him.

LOL--no little Fables running around! Had a vas about 20 years ago. I wouldn't have minded fathering a cheese mite who constantly questioned everything, but I drew the line at passing on severe chronic asthma to a new generation.
Besides, starting a wildfire in NJ could only improve the look of the place.
Is this thread still about England? You know, that land whose current citizenry account themselves accursed for not having fought alongside Harry on Saint Crispin's Day?

Hmmm...in less than twenty four hours what began as a simple request for people not to overlook my homeland, has degenerated into mindless fable-bashing. Shame on you.
A recent survey showed that business people believe Scouse, Brummie, Cockney, Geordie and West Country accent is associated with business failure.
"Geordie? Not surprised. How can you sell anything if nobody knows what you're saying?"
Well, of course. Though I must admit that I am surprised my own Rochdalian accent is not on the list. For those not sure, think of the movies "The Parole Officer" or "East is East" and it's quite similar.
"Ahhh, there is nothing better than a cup of tea! Whatever problems you may have, it always feels better with a cup of tea."
Never a truer word spoken. I prefer mine with milk which must have my grandfather spinning in his grave- he used to say that tea with milk is devil's "urine" (insert common euphemism here).

You mean, when diptheria and typhoid were rampant, and the best solution was to locate a few gypsies or Jews and hang them for well poisoining? Ah, simpler times.GregtheSleeper wrote:*grumbles* They don't make tea like they did in the good old days.
I couldn't agree more! Roast beef, Guinnesses, and chicken curries for everybody!Hmmm...in less than twenty four hours what began as a simple request for people not to overlook my homeland, has degenerated into mindless fable-bashing. Shame on you.
