Umbra sword, no doubt. We all remember how sweet it was in MW, and now it looks even better than before. It does more damage than most one handed swords, including ones that you would think to be really good (Like Goldbrand or the Ebony Blade) Plus, the soul trap spell is now on strike (unlike before, when you had to manually cast it each time), so that makes it a bit more convenient. To get Umbra, just (Spoiler, sorta) Go to the shrine of Clavicus Vile and spend 500 gold to take his quest (to obtain Umbra for him). At the end of the quest, you can either keep Umbra, or trade it for the Masque of Clavicus Vile. The masque really sucks in comparison, so just keep Umbra all to yourself.
Get up, stand up. Come on, throw your hands up.
If you've got the feeling, Jump across the ceiling.

The summoned deadric long sword supposedly does more damage,
and there is an inventory glitch you can use to make it a permanent item. (by using a Horse)
I suppose once you have done this, you maybe also able to enchant it as you see fit.
:disclaimer:
I havn't done the above - so I have no idea if it is accurate or not.
Though if it is, you could make a sword far superior to Umbra in both damage and enchantments.

Try something like this, better then the umbra...
Amog a lot of my enchantments, I think the best one is the "Soulreaver".
Daedric Longsword.
Fire damage 12 points
Shock damage 12 points
Frost damage 12 points
Weakness to Fire %74 for 3 seconds
Weakness to Shock %74 for 3 seconds
Weakness to Frost %74 for 3 seconds
Soultrap
This specs. used all soul points of a Grand.(18 charges)
with the azura soul gem, a very good combination.
ıf you wish do more damage, search forums for enchanting items. I've played a lot and never find something like my "Soulreaver". I can kill a Springian with only one sneak damage with this sword...

Those who think about the end, could not be a hero...

You should put the weakness to <element> before the dmg from <element>.
Oblivion applies the effects in-order.
