I thought Canderous was great. Got my vote. even tho they're the 'same person'.

In my opinion, I like neither Canderous nor Mandalore. Since they're the same person, they lack personality and talk a lot about their exploits in war. Very boring characters if you ask me.

Hmm... you have some interesting views of the game and your characters that you like I don't agree with at all.For clan Ordo!They really are good characters the reason they lack history is because for Mandalore they couldn't 'cause they rushed it and for Canderous...He tells you stories and he's MANDALORIAN they're supposed to talk about it just like the Echani are supposed to talk about battle forms I like them both because they are tough mandalorians.My apologies you have an interesting view on characters.....

I agree that this type of tough guy personality really suits Mandalore/Canderous. As you said, he has gone through countless battles and he deserves that type of personality. Also, not to mention that he had a detailed past explained back in KOTOR 1 which is interesting.

Even so, he's not one of my favourite characters in either KOTOR 1 or 2. Its not because I don't like this type personality. I just find him to be a rather boring person (well, at least he's way better than Carth in the sense that he's not whiny). Don't you think so?

I suppose he soesn't do much besides talk about war. All depends on whether you like that or not.
I like Carth later in the first one and in the second, though he is whiny, especially at first. I think I like him better than Atton, though.

Spoilers: Atton is better than carth cause atton killed jedi...what carth do? cried about his home world....I mean come on Atton killed the one he "loved" because she went in his head!

is definately the sassy,rude,crabby all the way through(carth was only in the beginning of the other) and if you make him become a jedi then he's still not better than carth(if you are on the light side obviously you like carth better because he was always good) but enough about Atton (sorry for off-topic) Mandalore I like better then almost all he is challenged IMHO only by in KotOR 2 anyway the droids and bao-dur

Personally I preferred Canderous over Mandalore. It was easier to get information from him and he had his own quest in the first game although it wasn’t that great. Plus you could actually change his armor in the first game unlike the second. And there is the sentimentality that he provides for the first game.

No, seriously... I liked Canderous a bit more because he seemed a bit less serious and mopey than Mandalore. Not to say that either of them were "worse" or "better" than the other, but I did prefer his thuggin' attitude.

I like Canderous. He was better in a fight. Plus, with Mandalore pretty much the only way to get influence with him is to kill people and support Vaklu.

And there is the sentimentality that he provides for the first game.[/QUOTE] Ya but Mandalore has his own little quest too and that's reuniting the Mandalorian clans and on the planets there are mandalorians if he is in your party you can get them to gather up their clan.(I'm not sure if you can meet 'em at dxun or not)

well ther the same person

but i find that they dont relly do much and only talk about the war,. it doesnt seem very interesting to me, but i like him as Mandalore more, find him better and stronger

Yes Mandalore has another vote! I would like Canderous alot better if he were as good as Mandalore can have the same armor and is as good a fighter. However he is still in the top for my basic favs
