patches

Post by mr_sir »

I bought the pc version of Fable:TLC on ebay and I am waiting for it to arrive so I thought I'd download any patches it might need. Does the game need any patches like most other games do?

Hey there,

Didn't expect to see you here. Anyway, there are no patches available for this game. Not to worry though, the game is pretty stable on its own.

Lol, I thought its about time I saw what all the fuss was about - so many people keep saying how much they like this game :)

Thanks, I think this must be the first game I've come across in ages that doesn't require patching lol.

Yeah. I was anticipating the game ever since the first time I've heard of it back early last year when its still on the XBox. When it came to the PC last September, I was pretty excited about it and can't wait to get it.

Hope you enjoy the game. :)

No problem. Though be advised not to use Hero Save too often especially when spamming the game just to get some key item multiple times. Will make the game unstable and the loading times slower. Eventually, it will crash.

Yeah. Always stayed away from using Hero save after it almost made the game go whack. I suspect it could be Lionhead installing this penalty to prevent the abuse of the Hero Save feature as I stated previously somewhere.

Hmm. Never tried that before. I only used Hero save because of the silver keys. I wonder if the XBox version have this Hero Save problem?

You gotta be kidding. The first time I tried to save this--the first time!--this game locked up my system. And based on reviews I've read elsewhere, among all the things Fable TLC might be, stable it ain't.

Good for you but just one question. Don't you find the game boring after constantly cheating with the Hero Save feature? Even if that problem is nonexistent in the PC version, I would feel bored doing so frequently. :D

EDIT: Had to correct some spelling mistake in my sentence.
