I'm currently on my second game of Redemption and it has got me in the mood to play Bloodlines as a Brujah. I've never done it as a Brujah before. The thing is I've noticed that, in Redemption, Brujah start with stuff like Protean, which they don't get in Bloodlines. I'm interested in trying to fiddle around with the console etc. to get a Brujah starting character that is quite close to how a PnP Brujah would be. Now I've never played the PnP VtM game so I was wondering if any of you people who know stuff about it could offer some advice as to which 3 disciplines would be the most appropriate.
Thanks in advance.

Okay, I've never played the PnP game either but I have been reading some online source material. According to what I've read, each clan has 3 "default" disciplines. These are disciplines that have been passed on from sire to childe throughout the clan since it's conception. Vampires can, in theory, learn any discipline - as long as they can find another vampire who already knows it and is willing to teach them. Here's a little exerpt about the Brujah clan from a brief character creation guide for the PnP game:
As you can see, Brujah are represented fairly accurately in VtM:B. Now here's the part regarding what disciplines a newly created character can choose from:Brujah
The Brujah are inheritors of a majestic and ancient legacy, which is unfortunate. Tonight's Brujah seem less like a clan and more like a mob. Punks, terrorists, revolutionaries, criminals, gangbangers and the like make up the Brujah; the clan seems to be united in nothing save its contempt for the institutions of vampire and mortal society. Well, this is not entirely true; Clan Brujah are among the most savage vampires, and the most trivial slight or annoyance may trigger a howling Brujah frenzy.
The Brujah's disunity keeps the clan tenuously in the Camarilla, but Brujah thugs routinely defect to the anarchs, the better to strike against their hated elders. Even the "tamer" Brujah annoy the elders and princes routinely through acts of defiance and rebellion. Despite their recalcitrance, however, Brujah are valued as warriors; they are perhaps the most dangerous vampires in a straightforward battle. To anger a Brujah is nigh suicidal - and Brujah are notorious for their tempers.
Aptitude: +1 with combat. Brujah are natural fighters; when in combat, a Brujah may add one die to any one action taken per turn.
Advantage: Blood Rage. A Brujah may spend a Blood Level to enter a semicontrolled form of frenzy. While under the Blood Rage, the vampire may ignore the effects of pain, but must attack foes directly, without missiles or non-Physical Disciplines (no firearms when one has the opportunity to tear one's foe apart with bare hands!).
Weakness: Blood Madness. Brujah anger much more quickly than other vampires do. All difficulties to resist frenzy increase by one (maximum 6).
Clan Disciplines: Celerity, Potence, Presence
I'm still trying to find where it explicitly says you can learn other disciplines from more experienced vampires. I know I read that somewhere. Maybe it was in another post on these forums....Now, pick your character's Discipline Levels. Each clan teaches three Disciplines - magical powers - to its members, but some vampires are more adept with some Disciplines than others. Disciplines come in two levels: Basic and Advanced. A beginning character may choose one of three "Discipline schemes":
-All three clan Disciplines at the Basic level.
-Two clan Disciplines: one Basic Discipline and one Advanced Discipline.
-Two clan Disciplines at the Basic level, plus an additional two points to spend on Traits. (If this option is chosen, the vampire may raise one Trait to 5 - superhuman capacity.)

You could jut play as Christof in Bloodlines since you know he get Protean or make your on History reguarding how you start with Protean, possible due to you being Sired by a Anarch or you having been a Ghoul of a Sire that had it.
I guess you know it is not hard to add any Disicipline to your character by using the console and vstats buy or vstats sell.
You could just use that single poit as you start with 4 Disiciplines at level 1 or add what works with your History with giftxp.
Also your Hotkeys will only work with up 5 Disiciplines (default K, iir), the 6th will cause it to stop working.

Trust me, most of the names I have been called you can't translate in any language...they're not even real words as much as a succession of violent images.
The first time through Redemption, I kind of made Christoff into more like a Tremere lol but this time I am solely relying on Protean, Celerity and Potence. Its the first time I've really played a melee type of character I enjoy playing in these kind of games so I was thinking of doing a similar character in bloodlines (it was always the melee aspect that put me off Brujah, so I tended to go for things like Tremere and Gangrel). I didn't realise it was possible to have more than 3 disciplines though so I'll have to think a bit more about which to have
. I don't want to stray too far from how Brujah would actually be which is why I posted this thread.
Thanks for all the help, and if anyone else has anymore advice then it would still be appreciated

Redemption is quite free reigned from the PnP viewpoint. It wasn't made as strictly canon as VTM.
It is possible ( and very often done ) in the original PnP to have more then your 3 Clan Disciplines after some time. You still start out with those three usually ( though gamemasters might allow another one that is plausible ). But you are able to buy more with experience points, though someone has to teach them to you...
