Repair my foot!

Ok. A few weeks ago I downloaded wyre mash after seeing fable reccomending it a few times. I decided to to repair my most used saves, but when I tried to load it up the game crashed to the desktop. Therefore I replaced the repaired save with the backups mash had made. I tried to load them up again but it still crashed to the desktop. Luckily I had another save to go back to and I've got it running again. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how they fixed it.
