Group in the pub - Bridge District
In the other Pub (not the five flagons) in the Bridge District, Downstairs there is a group.
I have yet to provoke them, so I was wondering if they are like the group in the Promanard? that you can just fight, but not all the group are evil.

Actually the party of adventurers (led by Mencar Pebblecrusher)in the Den of the seven vales in Waukeens Promenade are of Neutral alignment....
Captain Dennis and his men in Delosar's inn will not start a fight without getting provoked....
If you kick their a$$es the only special item worth of notice that you get is the Boomerang Dagger +2.....
Just like Garcia and Watto44 said casting a "limited wish" spell asking for an adventure like no other will start a quest that involves Cpt. Dennis....
(Does anyone know what happens if you kill Captain Dennis and then do the "limited wish" quest?????)

My first time through the game I killed Capt. Dennis and his buddies before I knew anything about the wish quest. When I finally got the spell and cast it there wasn't an option to choose "an adeventure like no other."
So if you kill them before you get the wish quest, there is no replacement. This time through I am waiting to kill them until I get the quest

Something is possible with the wish AFTER killing Dennis

I killed Dennis!! Yeah, I didn't knew there was a quest!!!
So?
With Aerie (Wisdom 16 and Inteligence 20 with magic) you can ask for a powerfull magic item. The djinni gives you a complete armor +2 (CA -1)!! Anomen right now is very happy with me.
Ok, better do the quest... next time!!

Hmmm... I remember reading that that armour is "cursed" somehow (I think it makes your speed less or something). Anyone else remember the exact details?

nothing of interest
as mentioned I dont believe the limited wish quest gives you much more than the boomerang dagger and some reasonable XP. Dont know about the armour ( I sold it as soon as I got it). I feel theres a lot of running around in this quest (Bridge District to Temple District to Druid Grove then back) for an average reward. As for the group downstairs, the Innkeeper is rude as are most of the other patrons. Ive never found them to be of any use or relevance (except maybe target practice)
