experience question

Alright I was just wondering for future reference... I know in BG1 turning difficulty down means less exp... but in BG2 if you turn it down is there less as well??... j/w in case I ever turn it down for a fight too hard thanks

Apparently a person does get more experience when playing in the higher difficulties, it's just the extra experience isn't properly shown in the messages box.

I'm not sure how much more experience is gained or available but the proper amount of experience gained is shown on the character sheets.
