Hi and hello everyone since I am new to the forum!
I want you guy to help me coz I hav no bloody idea wat's going on with my V:TMB. I played the game just fine on my old Radeon 9550 AGP , yeah it was a bit sluggish but I was able to reach Chinatown with my Swordfighting Brujah. Like 2 days ago I bought new Graphics - Geforce 6800 GS 128 Mb and and when I start the game all I get is black screen with little white dots moving around like madmen. The resemble the ones you get on your TV when ur reception sucks. So I wonder what the hell is going on? Any of yous share the same problem? Or at least know what might cause it?
BTW : I play on : Athlon 2,5+ : Asus A7n8x-x : 1 GB RAM : 400 W power supply (since now it does matter when we deal with graphic cards) and obviusly that bloody Geforce of mine. And I have that 1.2 patch insatalled.
Help more than welcomed!

"You cannot forsee your future, no man can, all you can do is live the 'here and now'"
What Video drivers version are you using for your GForce and did you Uninstall the ATI drivers correctly first before you installed you new GForce?
Trust me, most of the names I have been called you can't translate in any language...they're not even real words as much as a succession of violent images.

I ran every sing uninstall there was and used Driver Cleaner as well... and i have Forceware 91.31 from Nvidia website... I checked other games if the same problem will occur and it is the most likely to be a refresh rate problem, is there any way to change the refresh rate of the game? I didnt find anything in cfg file... maybe a command in autoexec .... is needed.... HELP!

I bet there is a Autoexec command, I will try to look for it as I don't remember it .
On thing you can do to check this, is to set your desktop resolution to the same resolution and refresh rate as your game.
Now ATI Try Tools will lock the refresh rate, but I am not sure it works with NVidia.
You can check google for, Lock refresh rate, which should point you to a tool or two.
Though be careful, if you find one your intrested in trying ask around first to see if anyone has tried it first, as messing with refresh could cause problems with your monitor.
There is a bug in the orginal WinXP which keeps resetting refresh rate to 60 on your desktop, but I think that was fixed in SP 2.
There are some programs which can help if you don't have SP2.
The Guru of 3D Download Section is a pretty good site to get downloaded drivers and tools.
What Operating system are you using?

Thanks mate...you were right about the refresh rate.... u can actually lock it in "normal" nvidias drivers but what I did : I chose "run" from Start Menu then typed 'dxdiag' ---> more help ----> override -----> then I locked my refresh rate on 60.... simple as that! Thanks for the help and Tremere ppl own!
