The Outer Limits - Secret way to the end

Post by HalfBiscuit »

Hi folks

I found a route up into the mountains which will allow you to walk the mountains on the outside of the game area. From here you can drop down into many different areas of the world, Black swamp, Vale of ruin, Sea of woe Etc. Hidden in the moutains is a huge wall. This can be climbed and will lead you directly to the final area/battle. No need to pick up all those pesky artifacts. Of course this may well spoil half the fun of the game. Although ive had as much enjoyment exploring outside the games set route. Has any one else discovered this route?

I was trying to add a sreencap but the upload limit is very very small. Can i upload these images anywhere else?

If you find yourself on top of the mountain, be carefull not to drop down to the final area! Because there is no turning back, and it ruins the game.

i have explored every point to turn back to game world..No success!..only way is to reload an old save.

Found 1 place where u can climb up the mountain...its at the beginin of the game.....where the 2 shacks wth the chests are head north (its not at the end ...its north little 2 the west from the 2 shacks) ..... ull see on the map like a bay ...important u climb straight don t jump or bac flip just press ur W and wave side 2 side..even a charc lvl 3 can climb this path......However monster are pretty strong and spawn more up there.... so goin in wth a level 3 charc is suicide.. (well post if i find other places 2 climb)

mountain access

there are many access points to the mountains, and any area is accessible early in the game (to find better weapons, armor, etc.) -- it is a good idea to get a moonstone early to take full advantage of this.
some of the most powerful weapons are to be found in the black swamp area, however, I have not yet found a way out of this area back over the mountains --- HAS ANYONE ?

How does one get the heraldry from the elf king after returning the argalia?

That's the only area I have not managed to find a climbable route, anywhere else there's at least one.

The only place I found that was unpassable was in the mountains in the NE area, north of Lost Lake, it's simply too narrow, but only when going from east to west, for some reason I had no problem going the other way.
