New posts indicator...

Post by Damuna_Nova »

The graphic which shows whether or not there is new posts in a forum looks quite strange when looking at them from a subforum view rather than from the forum index (this, as opposed to this).

It looks like it's because the forum information box and that of the box that the indicator is normally in are different colours, and the indicator is in the forum information box on the subforum view.

Looks the same to me, which it also should be because it is the same image used (just checked the properties of the images).

My imideate reply would be it is your browser which some times reads/displays the wrong images, lest the code "suddenly" changes which I doubt.

I'm saying there's a colour mismatch because it lacks a box for the indicator, I didn't say they were different images.

Yes, a colour mismatch, what a waste of your time. :o

I am still not seeing any color mismatch between the indicators. Try taking a screenshot to indicate it. The two pages look identical to (in that regard) which I'll attribute to the same code prodivide the two views.

It's a rather trivial thing anyway...

Ahh - it is the right border of the tablecell with the post indicator which lacks and where the "problem" arises.
Now I see what you mean.

Looking at the html code I can't see if it is an error or intended. But you are right - It is a (rather) minor thing :)
