We get to choose Revan's allignment?

Post by Stevie »

I've read in a few places that in the beginning of the game you get to choose whether Revan was LS or DS. I'm playing through the game for the second time and I'm absolutely certain that there's been no opportunity for the Exile to state what was Revan's allignment (although you do get to tell Atton whether Revan was male or female). I'm playing the PC version of the game.
Is this something that you choose in the XBOX version, or should the question of Revan's allignment come up in the PC game? Thanks.

Its definately there in the PC game but its not just a simple 'Is Revan LS?' kind of question. The game decides if he is LS or DS through your description of the events in Kotor1.

Can't say I noticed it. I don't really recall anything that the Exile says/does that could relate to Revan's allignment, except questions about why the Exile chose to join Revan in the Mandalorian Wars.
And even then, the answer the Exile gives for his/her reasons for going to war shouldn't have any bearing on Revan's allignment in kotOR I.

There are questions relating to Revan's actions back in KOTOR 1 as what Mr_Sir has stated previously. Its at the very beginning of the game when (spoilers, please highlight)

Actually GO-TO and Kreia both say something like did he really fall to the dark side or did he really try to conquer the republic. it's not exact but same point. To me that kinda says he was really LS all along which paves a good way for Revan to come back as LS in a (possible) KOTOR 3.
nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. See that's the part where you jump out and go "AAAAHH!!!!!!!" when people don't know you're there.
