Is there any way to set up a hotkey to switch back and forth from Melee to ranged weapons during combat without going into the inventory?If so,does it switch all party members,or just the one hi-lited?

I don't think there is a way to do that, no.
But if there was it'd just switch the one guy at a time, because swapping gear like that takes time, and is hence a move action in combat for each character to do on his turn. In ToEE you have it easy, because one move action will let you swap inventory all over the place. Not so simple in pen&paper.
