Raising corpses?? (spoilers)

Post by Orfinn »

Something that have been stuck into my mind is that somewhere on the web regarding Oblivion. I found info that you could raise a newly fallen npc or creature by using a spell. They will just look like they were when alive but they would be bound to you until they die or something, a shell of former self...Im a bit unsure. For me it seems like necromany, but that again are under the Conjuration school which as far as I have explored dont include spells for raising fresh corpses only summon undeads.. Can anyone confirm if this is possible or not?

I'm not sure if there is a spell that can do this. But at the end of the mages guild:
(spoiler please highlight)
Spoiler
You get "the staff of worms" this will allow you to "re-animate" a dead NPC, they'll look the same, exept they'll have eerie red eyes. They'll act as your bodyguard for 30 secs (how long the spell lasts)
Not sure whether this is the same :/

I shall quote the "hey you" thread:
Please add "SPOILER" to the name of any new threads that contain information that might spoil someone else's gaming experience. Also, put any spoiler information in BLACK text so that it cannot be seen without highlighting is a good way to make sure someone isn't spoiled unless they want to be.

Repeated posting of information giveaways without SPOILER warnings will lead to the temporary suspension of posting privileges.
I've edited your thread for you, Orfinn, but I hope you remember to do it next time. ;)

i did not think you could but it does seem very possible.
from my knowledge i would say no but if the
staff of worms does what dread says it does then yes.
Why am I fighting to live, if I'm just living to fight? Why am I trying to see, when there aint nothing in sight? Why am I trying to give, when no one gives me a try? Why am I dying to live, if I'm just living to die?
