Count yourself lucky. I bet it doesn't take that long, and I know long, we used to have a massive backyard, take a couple of hours.

It should buy you more than an hour if it's heavy. You should never mow a wet lawn, wrecks the mower blades.

Get a hose and soak the grass. Uh oh, too wet to mow, better put it off until tomorrow.
