We should get a move on lest Boo bite us all in hard to reach places!

I think you need a few delayed blast fireballs too, just for the extra kick :p But this is an old trick, and a dirty one, did you know?
Flesh to stone ain't permanent, it seems.

Yeah, I knew. i actually found out about it on this board when I did a search out of pure frustration. In this case, Edwina was VERY useful to the group.

Yes, that is very dirty:angel: I do that tactic with large groups of things when I am too lazy to actually fight them.

By far one of the funniest and most lame strategies I have ever seen.......I LUV IT !!! Thank Luis for the delayed fireball suggestion, but I honestly think you might also need some grease, web, entanglement, cloudkill & maybe a little insect plague just in case the beastie slips through your defenses ;) :mischief:

My question is: Did it work? Or did it backfire?

That's great! :D

Last time I did that piece of dungeon my party was already into the HLAs, so just for the visual laughs I had my thief set several spike traps, and then I equipped her with the boots of speed, sent her down the hallway, and the beasties all followed her back...

*kaboom!*

It was most entertaining

Amazingly enough, it worked one time, and none other. Most of the times, the Wolfwere could walk right THROUGH the wall of skull traps and never set them off. Curious to see if they really worked, I walked Edwin into them. Edwina, RIP

I thought that would happen, I've had many enemies waltz past my Skull Traps like that and it really is a pain. If you plan something like that I think you should walk into view with a mage then have them turn invisible, this way the werewolves will stop hopefully near the traps enough to set them off.

Sometimes they are bugged, I killed greater warewolf with melee character. I was soloing the game with Blade, and he did kill em all! While in my previous games I had Keldorn, Volygar with Celestal Fury and culdnt get more then almost wounded ; F This is sucky thing for beginners, but for advanced players they just dont make a challange [= Thats my opinion
