Broken Wish Spell?

Hi Folks,

Anyone know if the option to: 'regain all spells as if the party had just rested was removed?'

Finally got the wish spell again and noticing that option never comes up.

The wish spell is based on your characters wisdom I believe, which means the results of the spell are random. The rest and regain spells option is one of the better options, and it can take awhile to get it to show, esp if your chracter has a lower wisdom.

hmm, is that a 'once wish' which is one of those wishes you can only cast once in the game?

Wish depends on both Intelligence and Wisdom, having 18 in both still won't regularly bring up the option to wish rest but will make it more common.

Charecter has a 17 WIS and an 20 INT, pretty far along into ToB but the rest option never comes up with the wish spell.

Have Ascension installed was wondering if that was changed. Appreciate the responses all. After casting it 50+ times was wondering. Might just need to cast it that 51st time.

wish spell is highly broken...

even worse is "cast abi dahzim on everyone in the map"...protect your party with immunity to magic damage, and obliterate every enemy on the map, visible and invisible.

limited wish is almost as bad...

cast spell, have minsc talk to the djinn, and ask for protection from undead. his low wis and intelligence means you get attacked by a pack of vampires...which you can enslave with viconia or evil pc cleric...send your pack of vampires to attack dragons...

Wait a sec, you are using the level 9 spell Wish and not the level 7 (or 8?) Limited Wish aren't you?
