What's with all the helmets in this game looking so bad? What happened to the badass looking helmets from Morrowind like the Palace Guard Helmets in Tribunal.
The only thing close to looking as cool as that helmet is the Daedra helm, but I want my character to be mysterious, not chaotically evil.
If anyone has seen or heard about any helmets/armor looking like or equally as cool as the Palace Guards', post a picture, or say where to find it, thanks.
The Legion helmets look pretty cool, but I havn't seen anything look like what you're looking for...yet. I like my character looking mysterious as well, so I use the black hood and armor I got from the Dark Brotherhood. He looks kinda like a ninja, and the armor is enchanted with about 5 different things. Same with that hood, so if you're looking for mysterious armor then the Dark Brotherhood is the way to go.
The helmets are great, well excpect the dwarven one, have placed almost every other helmets by my window in Anvil, my collection is soon complete, Im taking after Obelix man that fella have a taste for roman helmets

I kinda like the dwarven hockey mask Now for some really ugly headgear, let's talk about the Masque of Clavicus Vile... woo hoo!

I have the Daedra helm and I dont know about you but Chaotically evil is pretty sweet.
As to mysterious I would have to agree with Babytank the the dark Brotherhood would cover you there.

The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed.
i like the elvan helm that you can get from doing the collecters quest its called the last alied kings helm. Its a elvan helm but it looks ebony like the colors(black and gold)
:mischief: The color of night is Black, as the color of Oblivion is red. All live with the fact that Mehrunes Dagon rules, Ye who Closes Shut the Jaws of Oblivion will see the mouth of Oblivion closer than thou can imagine:mischief:

P.S. The Umbra helmet is terrible.
Yeah, nice. I really like red armour. But I prefer light Glass armour for my chars, and I quite like the Glass helm. It doesn't cover most of the face like the red one in the illustration, but it does give a sort of disguised look to the char, if you want a mysterious look.
I like the elven armor aswell , my dark elf looks pretty killer in full elven. But who ever mentioned the last aylied king helm , how do you start that quest I'd love that helm.
I havent seen glass yet but Iam looking forward to trying it out
to start the quest go to an aliad ruin just so it will be easier and quicker just go in to the ruin outside of the sewer that you come out of in the beginning of the game. Once in there keep going until you find an old statue ,it doesnt look like a statue it looks more like the little things that hold up the varla and welkand stone with a little blue lite in the middle. Once you find it (also its kinda deep in the ruin where theres NO bandits) anyway when you get out you can go sell it or go to the talos plaza district in theimp. city to a house the owners name is umbocano or sumthing like that. he will ask you to find nine more buying them from you 500 gold each. Ounce you find about 6 he will ask you to do another task. And just do it from there. Now im not going to tell you all of it (unless you want me to) but when umbacono says to steal it DONT if you want to keep it talk to the girl and she will tell you that there is another helmet (he doesnt know what the real one looks like so you go get the fake one in another aleid ruin)and it goes on from there
P.S. actually sneak in to her house at nite and steal it then talk to her. rite back if you want to know more ill keep checking in

i went ahead and found the other fake king helmet ,well its real but its not the last kings helm, but its just like an elvan helm but silver with a little gold trim.
O yea i forgot to metion both of these helms suck they only have 1 defense kinda good effects though

Here is a picture of the Masque of Clavicus Vile, it is a possible reward from Clavicus Vile’s Daedric Quest.
However, to get the mask you will have to give Umbra away, the best weapon in the game. But if you want to keep the sword you cannot get the helm. A dilemma, is it not?
To find the Shrine, you should be travelling between Skingrad and Imperial city, on the Golden Road. The Shrine is nearer to Lake Rumare than it is to Skingrad. And If you have found the Sanguine’s shire it is almost directly east from there.
Your character will have to have reached at least the 20th level to be able to start the quest. Carry lots of potions.
