You mean a real high voltage(10,000 volts) or the one used with ranching animals?

Ranching animals. Btw, the voltage doesnt matter much, but the amperage (i dont know the word in English) that can kill. I cant really explain the concept but believe me, you wouldnt want to feel a strong shock like 10000 volts :P
