Speaking of cullis gates, why not make them restricted to a certain country of land and you will only be able to travel to towns/cities within that country/state? That would, in my opinion, make use of sea travel should you travel to a different land or country.
So do you mean to the place wisper comes from? In TLC **spoilers**she goes to her own country, but the ship is attacked by pirates so lionhead might make you able to go there or something? That would be awsome. Perhaps they might put in cononies like Britan had at that period in history, America, India, Pacific islands, ect. Then that would be one cool game, but it might mess with fable a lot, because Albion was so big in the first 2, but in TLC snowspire was a colony thing, wasn't it? So why couldent they expand on that?

@superbob263 we were just compareing ways of fast travel

The cullis gate and boat travel discussion is kind of linked to the topic of pirates as, in my opinion, pirates will be a bit pointless unless boat travel is included and boat travel will be pointless if they use cullis gates too extensively. The only way I can see pirates being useful in the game without boat travel is maybe by having a pirate port somewhere in Albion that is part of a quest etc.

Or mabey become a pirate and do quests for them, like the guild in TLC, because I dont think the guild will still be around, so they should let you chose a factions or something....but then that might ruin the game.

For me, a big part of Fable is the whole Heroes Guild thing so I think they will need to include this. There is no reason why a pirate could not be a hero too though as they do say in Fable that they do not discriminate based on your ethical values :D

Well it might be that he is a land locked pirate or it could be that you are just steryo typing pirates they do not all need to use boats they could be affrid of water.

A pirate afraid of water? I guess that is possible, but not likely. I aree that people might stereiotype pirates a bit too much. I guess Mr_sir is right, that the guild should be there, but should not be the only spot to level up your skills, they should let you do that at a bandit camp thing and a pirate area too...

I also agree about the more places to lvl up I mean you would not want a pirate going in to some high and almity place to learn

Good point. Pirates dont seem at home in omnipotent halls of greater learning.
