Lost in the Sewers *poss. spoiler?*
Hey there Im trying to find the nos in the old sewers under hollywood. I got as far as the room where you can control the electricity and the pumps... I cant seem to get past that.... I cant find any walkthroughs that really say too much about it so iwas wondering if anyone has any tips! I may be there forever!
Ok you turn off the electricty at the switch box, behind the door, then turn off the pumps at the big switch on the walkway above the water, save your game.
Ok after about 5 seconds the light will turn green, hit the switch to turn it on, run to the left of the switch and jump off, swim underwater towords the pump at the T intersection swim right, which will lead you up and to the exit, kinda of a black door in the pipe.
Now you must do this very fast, once you flip the switch on and start to run, turn on Celerity if you have it.

Trust me, most of the names I have been called you can't translate in any language...they're not even real words as much as a succession of violent images.
That part has got to be the most awkward part of the game. The first time through it took me a lot of attempts to get my Tremere through it. The key I found is, like Acleacius, to jump off the end of the platform with the switches rather than take ladders. The trick is to get into the water as fast as possible as if you manage to swim far enough down the pipe you can still keep going even once the water starts flowing again.
Just a thought, has anyone tried using the no_clip command here so they can get past the pipes?

That's a good idea, mr_sir. I haven't tried noclip at that point in the game yet, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. I've got a game saved right at the start of the warrens, too. I'll let you know how it turns out.
Works like a charm! In fact, if you know your way around the map pretty well, you can bypass that room completely with noclip. Turn it on, walk through the walls until you're floating around in the void outside the map, and look around for reservior 2. Float your way over to the upper chamber, turn noclip off, and you're set.
