a little help please

Post by clumsythief »

Just got done battling through mamaea, or some of it anyway. Something has hbappened to bring my speed and agility down to 0, I don't know how to fix it and it's driving me nuts, ruining the game for me actually. Any advice?

Try removing all items from your possession. (Yes, all, including what you're wearing.) If those stats are still red, then you've either got a disease (which should show up as an icon at the top of your spell list), or you're cursed.

In either case, a Restore potion of the appropriate kind should deal with it, or a Restore spell. Or you can go to a temple, pray and donate at the appropriate shrine.

With 0 speed? If he/she doesn't have any potions, then nothing can be done...

Missed the 0 business. :rolleyes: Thanks for catching it. (Too early in the morning.) On a PC (if he's using one), he can bring up the console via ~, and type:

player->SetSpeed 50

Or whatever values he prefers. (He can also use SetAgility in this.) Then hit return, close the console, and he should be able to move, again.

Clumsythief, even after you've reset the values, they'll still drop back to 0 with time if you don't get the disease or curse removed.

Check everything youre wearing- make sure youre not wearing any enchanted items that would bring those values down... It actually sounds like you got some disease and you never cured it.

Ah, a little console help never hurt anyone when they were in a pickle. =]
