i have a level 23 warrior that i just soloed level 1 and 2 and i have done half leve three so far, with a warrior..
i use 1 axe in each hand. that axe that givs +2 fire dmg and frostreaver. and i got some +4 weapons incase i need them vs mobs and things..
i havent done chapter two yet in the prologue, i just farmed some nice eq. like boots of speed and nice weapons and cloak of sewers and stuffs. so i could be able to solo watchers keep, i wonder if i can take the whole keep. then this game is way to easy..
btw i got the difficulty AD&RULES so..
but, have any other done this? with some other char or the same?
regards Nicho

The easy answer is: anything is possible.
A more indepth answer:
1: Later down you'll find some very challenging battles with your solo warrior - even with high level abilities.
2: With the correct tactic (and perhaps a bit of luck sometimes) the game is beatable with any solo character.
3: Level 1 and 2 are quite easy compared to the rest of the keep.
4: Yes, people have done this before. But it's not easy to solo the Keep with a warrior, so if you can do that perhaps you should consider installing a mod or two..

As I'm sure you have noticed, as a solo character you'll level up terribly fast in comparison to a party. A level 23 warrior is a very formidable enemy, no questions asked. When I go to WK, I usually have a party around that level (or several levels lower) to back me up, so I'm sure soling a warrior through Watchers Keep is possible. Keep in mind, though, that it is possible. Here are several reasons why you might fail:Nichotin wrote:i have a level 23 warrior that i just soloed level 1 and 2 and i have done half leve three so far, with a warrior..

-The first two or three levels of Watchers Keep are very doable, even with a low level party and thus also with a high level warrior. However, as is usually the trouble with such things: the farther you get, the more resistance you'll find on your way. I'm unsure if you ever played through WK before (since you're soloing, I assume you have, but for safety’s sake, let's assume you haven't), so I'll not give too much spoilers, but I can assure you that, as a warrior, you will find your fair share of trouble.
-That leads me to point two. Although you're a high level warrior, you said you haven't done many quests, and don't have many items yet. A warrior needs items to survive the wide amount of battles thrown at him. Since WK throws some of the worst fights at you, a well-equipped warrior is of crucial importance. This might be your downfall.
Then again, I've never soloed through WK, and I don't know exactly what equipment your warrior is wearing, so you're more than likely to prove me wrong. Keep us posted, in any case.

It's been done with most chars, but I'm unsure how many of them except for sorcerers has been a single-class. It's way harder to do it single-class than dual/multi if you're soloing, since you're lacking out on versatility.
Anyway, as already said, the keep becomes harder the further you go. The main though behind the keep is that you should keep returning to it throughout the game as you can do level 1 pretty much out of Chateau Irenicus, but level fifth and the final one seems impossible for some.
Keep us updated on if you're able to solo it full out and do write down what you're doing.
I see a few things (level drain, implode, stoneskins) that can be hard to take down as a single-classed warrior.

well i got quite good equipment atleast i think, and i find nice tings inside of WK. but the problem is i am a dual wield axe warrior, and there isnt any +4 axes in SOA
so some monsters are just pain in the ass. but i am thinking of doing some main quests now and i will try to get the ring of gaxx. that will help me alot down in wk.
at mom i got -7ac with dualwield and use holy power when needed to get some extra dmg, life and ac bonus.
the level drain etc is quite lame imo
after a fight i got lvl drain i go up and get cured at the npcs.. quite lame yes i know.. but thats the life of a solo warrior
not much healing there=)
i will keep you posted, but for now i am going to try to save imoen
and hopefully try to solo kangaxx the lich with a warrior. which i heard is quite hard, even for large parties
so wish me good luck, and btw i never entered wk before this warrior actually
