Hello, gemmoq. Welcome to GameBanshee.

*Possible spoiler for anyone who has not played the game yet*

I don't think there's any places you required to have NPCs. You just need to speak to the right people. ie. talk to Nalia but not asking her to join still gives you the mark on your world map.

Only tricky place is Planer Sphere, but you just need to kill Valygar and take his body, so that you can enter there. No problem.

I've never killed any of them myself, but gemmoq asked if he could have all the places on his map without having any NPC.
Neither Viconia nor Minsc have any map with them, so rescue them or not really doesn't have any meaning to his question. Without Jaheira the Harper quest is not available, but that's also nothing to do with the question either.
Of course, he can completely omit Planer Sphere, but if he wants to do the quest without any NPC, only option is to kill Valygar. Alternatively, he can take Valygar with him to the entrance to the Sphere to unlock it, but that is not the same as "without having the NPC" as he said.
