Reforging the blade (spoiler)

Ok so here is my problem. I'm on the quest where you have to get the missing pieces of the blade for the Nerevarine's sword, and I have two out of three of them, but I can't get the third! Apperently Almelexia gives you one piece, but I never got one! I have the one from Karrod, and the one from the museum. So am I just stupid or is this a glitch? And I'm on Xbox, so no codes will work.

Try forging the blade, I think you should already have it(doesn't she give it to you before you start the quest or some stupif thing?).

If I am wrong, go talk to Almalexia then sleep, then talk again and she will likely put out with the sword piece.

Edit: Also, did you make sure to break the "Dwemer Battle Shield" down? If you didn't, go to the Craftsman's Hall and do that first.

Yeah I did all that, and I think it was just a glitch. Any way I reloaded to a different save and did everything again, but thanks for the help.
