My character is a male human Kensai, LG, with stats of 18/57, 18, 18, 15, 11,and 3 (18 with ring of HI). I want to dual class to thief but the game won't let me. Is it because I am a Kensai or becoause I'm LG, if so, can I get around this?

A thief can't be lawfull as I recall it, so you can't dual class "legally".

A Thief can't be Lawful Good. They can be the other Lawful alignments.
