Lost horses - shadowmare

I have lost horses before, and they usually return to the stable that i bought them from, but where does Shadowmare go? I went into an aeylid ruin and when I came back out, Shadowmare was gone. I looked all around to no avail. I tried fast travelling to different places and then back and still no luck. Does anyone know where shadowmare goes when lost?

Shadowmere probably went back to where you first got it; Fort Farragut.

Yes, search Fort Farragut.

NOTE: Your Horse runs away if it goes unconscious, and will walk away after it comes conscious, but if you mount yourself before you go in to a dungeon (or fast travel or anywhere) it will NOT run away...

I fast travelled to Fort Farragut and Shadowmare was there. Thank you. I figured that she would return to where i got her, but I couldn't remember which fort it was. Thanks again.

You can keep attacking shadow mere and get like blade experiance but once you start getting higher you will level up sloooower.
