Branwen's Spiritual Hammer ability: How does it work?

Post by Klorox »

How powerful is this hammer of hers?

How do I know if I'm better off using a magic item (Ashideena) or this special ability?

How long does it last?

TIA

Ashideena...? That's a new one on me (of course, I just go straight the game after looting Larswood for maximum Level, so that may be why)...

Anyway, the Spiritual Hammer counts as a Magic +1 Weapon and is a 2D4/6 Weapon, I think (It should be found somewhere in a Spell Discription on a Character somewhere). It's pretty good for when you first find Branwen, as she'll likely only have a mundane Mace/Club/Flail (Morning Star if you're lucky or had the foresight to buy one), but as time gets on, you should have found a decent Morning Star +2 which should be way better. Or that Ashideena thing...

Ashideena is the +2 electrical warhammer IIRC. The spiritual hammer does improve with level, but I don't think it ever gets +3 (I think it might be +1 till level 7, +2 from 7-12, +3 from level 13+...).
