need help

probably just a glitch, but after clearing ulm and returning the regalia, the fathien guy doesn't register as an enemy.. the elven king is attacking him, but his swords are invisible, and it does nothing.. last time i played, this happened, and i got past it somehow, but i can't remember.. if anyone can help, it would be very much appreciated.. thanks..

Have you tried loading an older savegame like one before you go to ulm or before taking the elven test?
If it doesen't work try to restart the game and see if it works.Hope I could help you out.

can't do that..

i always save over the same file.. it helps keep mine and my roommate's files separate.. so i'd have to completely restart the game..

You've got a bad habit there.There are 8 gameslots for savegames you should have 4 and your roommate 4 and there should be absolute no problem for both of you.So next time please use more gameslots,u have seen what happened.
