Your dexterity looks like it's too high...as you risk having the bug of having over 100 strike...where strike gets reset back to 0.

Your agility looks rather low, as it is one of the easiest stats (right behind honor) to boost for all the characters. I see that you rose your parry skill up 13, but I still would have risen agility up to 90+...and would have left dexterity at about 80.

Are you missing a 2nd tier mage class?

I personally raise my attribute stats very high before I raise any of my skill stats. I also try to get all my tiers before raising any skills beyond their necessary requirements, meaning for example I get these tiers in this particular order...Fighter/Mage/Battlemage/Samurai/Hatamoto, I would get Parry up to 3 for Battlemage then to 5 to get samurai then I'd up it to 10 at the most before getting my Hatamoto 3rd tier. When I get Hatamoto, my 3rd tier, and when my Intelligence is near or above 100, I raise the heck out of the Parry skill. The more "learning bonuses" you can get stacked onto each other for a particular skill, the lower the ADV points are going to be to buy that skill for the next skill level. I never increase a skill beyond 2nd tier and 3rd tier requirements until I have gotten all my class tiers and my intelligence stat up very high, 80-120.

I assume that you will be fine. This game really isn't too hard unless you are playing on hard mode all the time...and you accidently boosted your dexterity too high, thus incuring the strike bug's wraith. (I did this with my dexterity with my first 4 characters, unknowingly...and boy am I still a little worked up about that). I don't think I really had a hard time with the game once I usually get my characters base Parry up to 50+, and strike around 90-97 (with equipment), my vitality at 85-100, my intelligence 90-120. And depending on whether I use a melee character or a mage character, strength for melee around 90-140 and for mage 32-60.

And usually you never need to repair your equipment with your Repair skill so long as you are wearing at least Medium Armor. When wearing light armor throughout the whole game...your Repair skill should be at about level 5...as enemies tough enemies can rip you up, and there is no shop in the dungeons to help repair your equipment. If you wear heavy armor, it takes like 5 years for your armor to even get fully damaged, especially if your Parry stuff is high.

Kama of flame is decent for an off-hand weapon. There's a better kama, but I can't remember when you can gain access to it. I think it spawns in some chests in one of the last quest places. The No-dochi (2-14damage), should be replaced. If you are playing version 1.5CE...you should have fought Mog and his friends to get the "Totemic Club" (7-17damage, 40%stun?...I think it was 40%...can;t remember). Since you are playing a Deathlord, if you find a better main-hand weapon...you could put the "Totemic Club" into your off-hand...that would make for some pretty sweet damage. (Isn't Mog and his friends in version 1.4...I'm not sure about this as I have 1.5CE).

Anyways, why do you ask about your character being tough enough to take on the tomb of soul? Are you having a hard time with your character at this point?

If you fought Mog's friends...you would get a key to a wooden shack...and in the chests you have a possibility of getting some kind of Deathlord equipment, which is pretty good stuff...I think it is the best armor in the game, iirc.

I never played all of version 1.1-1.3...I played a Library's copy of DL and dowloaded patch 1.3 ((as patch 1.4 took too long to dowload on "Dial-Up" connection where I download at the speed of non-existance (3.5kb/s).)) I liked the game, but I did not like its bugs in the lower versions, and it took too long to get a healthy download of patch 1.4...that I just decided to go and buy 1.5CE version (which is still fairly bugged).

So, I have no idea what the best equipment was for version 1.3 .
And personally, I have never finished this game (even though I have spent time character building up over a dozen characters). As I've noticed with all games that I've played (over 5000 games...nes, snes, sega, gb, gbc, gba, sega-cd, pc, ps1, ps2, and many other systems that I can't remember or mention off-hand...this also includes translated japenese to english games...I've finished 50% of all that I've played...and the many that I get to the end of the game that I never finish is because I enjoy starting all over again because I liked the game so much that I never want the story to end (selfish, maybe?)...but, it's like when you finish a long, saga of a novel of a book...you feel that you can never undertake that adventure again...you know the answers, you are God...there becomes no point to take on those quests again. (Not saying you can't reflect on your sagas, but to re-live them would mock that you never had these sagas/memories in the first place). Forgive my graphicness, weed thru what you want to hear. (I wish there was a way to relate myself in all my entirety with one motion...as I feel that "it isn't that we say the right words...it's that we don't say enough of them to be right or wrong." -Planet_Guardian

Anyways, that Totemic club thingy dropped by Mog wouldn't exist to you if you play version 1.3...and I don't even know if it exists in version 1.4...but, I do know it exists in my version 1.5CE. I'm sorry that you got gyped...as we always get screwed when we get experimental, unfinished games that companies only care about releasing to us to get our money instead of getting our respect.

I think the No-daichi might be one of the strongest one-handed weapons in versions of 1.3 and less...but, I can't be certain. Things like being able to buy the best equipment in the game kind of deafeats the purpose of searching and questing. It makes it kind of stupid that the best Armor in the game for Medium Armor wearers is the Imperial Armor with the +Parry mods can be purchased rather than saught. The imperial armor pieces seems like they rival up against heavy armor with higher armor values and (weak mods)/(no mods). I've found that many weapons and armor are so generic in this game that it really pales in comparison to Diablo2's 1000's of unique and rare pieces of equipment...where you can really individualize your character. Forgive my long-windedness, but I feel in order to be truthful and honest, one must tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth, less there be no truth worth telling. {I assume the answers you want are somewhere in the labryinth of my words...good journey in finding them}.

Yeah, I suppose if you keep restarting your character everytime you finish the game to get those +3 to all Attributes from the returning of the Galadran's Horn quest...you could get Dexterity up easier. But, from my point of not finishing the game at least once and from whailing on Moonbeasts...it took forever just to get my Lv80, female human, (fighter/adapt/valk/imperial/warlord)'s dexterity up to 114...and with all the +strike bonuses her strike is setting at 136. And uses the Winged-Destroyer, which has nether strike (weapons with magic on them tend to hit more often than weapons with no magic strike). But, even with 136 strike, I whiff a lot on moonbeasts. I decided to just retire her...until a patch comes out to fix the strike bug.

yap, agreed with patch 1.4.
finally got the voratus's eye and decided to get spell for deathlord. But hey I summon twice and nothing happen. another 1.3's bug?
another annoying thing, tried to open chest several time (10x maybe for each spullche.. and chest) to get deathlord equipment...and only managed to get katana of the sun, deathlord belt and shield evil ... or evil shield.
so...is there any deathlord armour..weapon...or helmet? I have 1 saved game slot before enter the tomb.

thx
