The one downside to nether (aside from your debuffs affecting your own summons) is having to find the kataals for one-time casts, especially for the rarest ones. The influence "bug" has recently been brought to my attention, though, which solves the main problem with nether spells (dont hurt me Planet_Guardian!). Would a thief/adept/trickster/celestial/cabalist who in battle does debuff, then summon, then buff, work? Also:
1.) Most importantly, does Drainlife from Cabalist work only with direct-damage spells, or my summons too? (and if so, does it drainlife to me or the summon that dealt damage?)
2.) How high will I have to raise bargain and/or honor respectively (as a male elf) to break the shop system?
3.) Does intelligence affect the strength of my summons and the range/stat incr of my buffs?
4.)If #3 is true, is it worth it to get my int up higher than 100 (since the strike bug wont matter for this type char)
5.) Should I go for all nether summons (ie deathlords and wraiths) or include some div intervention and blessed spirit
6.) Will blessed spirit heal my summons?
7.) Will spells from the wraiths and div intervention do splash damage to my other summons?

I wouldn't hurt you, SSJ3Kirby500. I just don't like the summon system in this game. That's all.
1.) Don't know. Good question. I've been wondering the effects of drain life myself...I just haven't created a Warlock or a Warwitch or Cabalists yet.

At about Honor of 35, and Bargain of 4. (respectively, of the top of my head)
At about Honor of 45, and Bargain of 3. (respectively, of the top of my head)

3.) Another good question. By my standards if I created this game...it would. But, DW Bradley and Heuristic Park are a little slower to me when it comes to thinking these things thru. I'm sorry, once again, I do not know.
4.)Refer to #3...or basically, "I REALLY HAVE NO CLUE." But, if I was the creator of the game...your thinking would be what I would want in this game.
5.) What does Blessed Spirit do exactly? If it heals all your minions, then it might sound good to use in tough battles. And does it stick around to take blows?
-But, seeing how the summons don't follow you around and are only good for single battles...I question the value of summons at all in this game. I prefer my summons to be travel luggage, in that they travel with me...instead of having to summon more each time I'm in a new place against a new set of enemies.

***There should have been a summon skill in this game. In that you would have a permanent merc that gets stronger when you add points into the "Summon Skill". And each 3rd tier class would have their own special summon/mercenary to tank or be tanked for by your character. Just a thought...that hopefully subliminally gets passed onto Heuristic Park. *Hint*, *Hint*.
