Avenger's XP Capper - Does it work?

I installed the XP capper program (which sets the XP cap to level 40) along with the extended tables (put it in override folder), and it seems to have worked, saying that it's been installed and that it's even backed up the old Icewind Dale II program.

Yet I just reached level 30 with my solo Drow Fighter 8/Wizard 22, and it says the next level XP is: Godhood. Does this mean the XP capper program didn't work, or that it did but it simply forgot to remove that bit of text?

Note also that I don't normally cheat, but this is my 3rd run through the game, and I plan on taking this guy solo through Heart of Fury mode as well. I know it is possible to do it without breaking level 30, but I figured I'd make it a little easier on myself.

Anyone use the XP capper successfully out there?
