Can you multi class monk and barbarian?

Post by probe53 »

is there a way you can change/jump class from a barbarian to a monk or vise-versa?
in other words, how does alignment restrict the dualing of a monk to barbarian or barbarian to monk? how can alignments change? ...assuming it can change.

i read somewhere that the alignment stops you, but it also expressed ways or what happens if the alignment changes...

I've not seen alignment changes before and I've been playing the game for a while. You can download a mod which removes class alignment restrictions though. I don't have a URL but I'm sure its listed somewhere if you google IWD2 Mods

Alignment restrictions are all in ALIGNMNT.2DA (need an editor to do this) - this has been altered by Weimers Ease of Use Mod to allow all alignments...

You should get the EoU mod, if not for the bugfixes...

You don't have to install mods in order to enjoy the game.
I only installed the official patch and the official bonus merchants (aka Collector's Edition Bonus Items) and still had a great gaming experience.
