Levitation unavailable

Hi everyone,

Freakiest thing has happened. I started a 2nd game, this time creating a Mage character. Anyway, I'm on Level 9 and went looking for a levitation spell or enchantment. I visited new mages as well as my old fave enchantress at Vivec, and no one has levitation as an option! OMG!

Is this a bug, have I done something?

I even tried to enchant an item myself and again levitation wasn't an option.

It could be the people you ar going to, try in the telvanni controlled areas, and you need to have the spell to enchat something with it.

Odd, I didn't realise spell availability was random....
If worst comes to worst, there are console commands that add spells,
I can't grab you the link to the page I have that lists them because it is bookmarked in my other browser and I'm about to leave the house, but if nobody has posted anything by the time I come back I'll put in the link.

Dragon wench, thanks for that - made me search for a console cheat to add spells, and it worked. Looks like it was some weird bug/glitch b/c no mage offered levitation. So all good now. First use of the console too.

A simple Levitation spell should be availalbe from the dunmer male in Balmora Mages Guild. (can't remember his name)

Heem-la (an argonian with his own room) in Ald'Ruhn mages has a more advanced version.

These are two are definites so if they aren't stocking your game is either glitched or perhaps you have a mod installed that eliminates the spell?
