Help; patches

Post by Reso »

I've had the 3-disc version of the game for a couple of years now. Disc 3 is TotSC. I've had them installed and they've all been working fine. But recently I've decided to install just two patches; the official TotSC patch and also the appropriate Baldurdash patch for the game. Then I started my new game. It was all going fine until I came to the first part in the game where I had to change discs when I went north to FAI. It asks for Disc 2, but whenever I put it in it recognizes it as the wrong disc for some reason.

Is there any way I can uninstall just the patches without removing the game too?

Any help with this appreciated.

Unfortunately you will need to uninstall and then reinstall the game. There is no way to remove just the patches.

BTW, the reason for your problem is with the official patch. Your system is already patched and didn't need to be patched again.

However, your game can certainly benefit from the Baldurdash patch. I also suggest the Ease of Use mod.
Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocre minds. The latter cannot understand it when a person does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses their intelligence.

Ahh, thanks.

I feel a bit stupid now. I'm assuming the version I have is "The Original Saga" then. I considered that, but I thought it was an official name that would be written somewhere on the case (which it isn't).

Again, thanks. :)
