Radiant Longsword *minor spoiler*
I have read in a couple of places (the walkthrough primarily I believe) that refer to the "radiant" longsword you get for completing the following quest*spoiler* "flirting with disaster" in Hommlett with Melany and her father as a +1 sword. The item description also might say that. I have experimented a bit with a couple of different parties and characters and I believe that it is really a +3 sword. When swapping it out with another longsword my character's to hit went up by 3 not 1. I looked for another thread on this but didn't see one, and just wanted to mention this little anomaly.

Sweet indeed
Hi LP,
Yes, it is. A little unbalanced perhaps for a 1st or 2nd level character to acquire. But I am NOT complaining. I kinda of like the Melany NPC too, since I like druids but don't really want to create my own. She's weak as newborn kitten at the start but after she gets a couple levels is quite handy. But I do like that sword. Have a Paladin in two different games. The most recent one started with the power attack and cleave feats and has been devastating with it.
