Returning Dart

Where does one find the returning darts in IWD2?
Other returning weapons are of interest as I think I am going to solo a monk.

My party found many (probably random) returning darts in my game.
But they are not very good. The most efficient throwing weapons are returning throwing axes.
You can also use a bow with an everlast arrow if you don't want to spend ammo, or returning throwing hammers and daggers.

That's the blue dart that gets some cold damage, right? I found some in the Ice Temple. I agree with kmonster, there are many of those in the game. I also agree that the throwing axes are better. You can get the best throwing axe in the Battle Squares game room, in the Ice Temple. But you have to work for it.

I generally fiind my first returning frost dart in the 2nd goblin camp in the goblin warrens. By the time you reach the underdark, you will likely have 3-12. I design all my parties to use ammo free range items to use when they aren't in melee or casting. The frost dart, everlast arrow and plain returning hammer are the worst of the ammo free items, but they are also the easiest to get. You can get the hammer and frost dart before leaving Targos for the last time.
