Which Type Of weapon do you use?

I prefer blade above all, and dont use blunt or HtoH weapons. I 've used them only for ATR upgrades...

i usually use either a bow o get a sneak attack in then a longsword, magic and a longsword or just a longsword.

i have only had one file with blunt which seems alright but it seems harder to get good ones early on (because most people have blades, and you cant get the akaviri blades or silver longswords from guards)

My mage is H2H all the way. At higher levels it works really good, as I've killed multiple Storm Atronachs and other nasty creatures with just my bare hands.

Blade all the way. Good selection and when I rp thieves I need it so they can use daggers/short swords.

I've used blade, ranged and H/H; often ranged and blade in combination - starting with ranged for distance shots, then using blade in melee. I HAVE used blunt, too, because there are some nice blunt magical weapons, but they tend to be heavier than blades.
But mostly I use just blade; longsword, shortsword and dagger. I don't like two-hand weapons.

oh definently blade 100%, bunt doesnt do anything worth a crp and H2H doesnt do much damage either. Blade is the best especially with

I go for blades most of the time, because I always valued my character Das'Kaar as a sophisticated killer. I just find a lot more satisfaction in sneaking up behind someone and sticking my shortsword between their ribs than just hitting them over the head with a club, or to a lesser extent, an axe (you know, like the crime boss did in "The Jackal"). That, and there are a lot more sweet blade weapons than there are blunt weapons.

PS: you forgot to include bows

Those guys are pretty nice too.

To me, there is nothing more satisfying than cutting and slashing through hordes of daedra and get that sigil stone. Blade baby!

I enjoy using blunt - I'm always a mage, but I enjoy pulling out my warhammer or axe once in a while and smashin' 'em down when I feel like it. Though I think I may start specializing in hand to hand, after seeing my brother whoop some Mystic Dawns in only two or three good punches... looked like FUNNN!

Gotta go with the blade.

I have a particular fondness for both my Daedric Longsword and my Daedric Warhammer that I have enchanted with a +30 Damage Health Sigil. Both are quite devastating and are not affected by an enemies immunity to Fire, Frost, or Shock etc. (I.E. You don't have to switch between weapons if one proves not to be effective against a Storm Atrinoch for example)

Although both quite effective, I prefer the (Blade) Longsword over that of the Warhammer due to speed of attack and less encumberance. I think my longsword weighs roughly 40 pounds, and my warhammer weighs somewhere in the low 90's. The longsword seems to be able to get significantly more hits in, than does the warhammer in the same amount of time.

I like blades mostly. If i'm bored i'll put away my sword and beat the sucker. Also i don't really know what the big deal is with Umbra's sword. It does soul trap and 23 damage whoop-dee-doo. My Daedric Longsword does 20 and, with my skill, can take out anyone. Umbra is just a weak players way of defeating something fast (and as a plus my daedric longsword isn't enchanted so fixing it is easy).

um the umbra does more damage then that. it just depends on what blade lvl u r im master so it does like what 28,30 i dunno. but its the best. but im sure some could take a daedric weapon and enchant it so its stronger.

Goldbrand can cause more damage than Umbra. Goldbrand is faster and the golden hue is really something I like. (I have a plug-in that made it a short sword.)

Personally I do not like how Bethesda nerfed the Blunt weapons. Sure, one-handed Axes are better than Long Swords. But what about when 75% of the magical weapons are Swords, 23% Blunts, and the remaining 2% Bows? No wonder majority voted for Blades. (The percentages may not be accurate, but do give the right impression.)

Personally I am thinking of creating a new character with OOO 1.3 and make her use Blunts, Volendrung here I come.
