Got the Anarchs Ending option despite being VERY rude to them!??! *Spoilerish*

Post by Lunaida »

I played with a Tremere this time and wanted to get the Camarilla Ending, so all the time I was very polite to the prince and Strauss, but VERY VERY rude to the Anarchs, to the point that Damsel didn't even talk to me and only made an "Arghhh" sound, Skelter kept telling me to get the hell out of the Last Round, and even Jack didn't "feel" like answering my questions...
Nevertheless, at the end of the game, the Anarch Ending was one of the options that I could choose from! (I was curious to see how Nines looked like after fighting the were-wolf, so I chose the Anarch Ending after I finished the game with the Camarilla Ending, and even Damsel seemed to be shocked after seeing me there, she said: "What the hell are you doing here Cammy!?" lol)
I was wondering, is this because I did the Plague-bearer quest and solved the Patty problem? Cause I had read somewhere that if you want to get the Anarch Ending, you have to be nice to the Anarchs; well, this was certainly not the case in my turn!

(P.S. I was rude to Nines too, but I apologized once to get that Melee point from him; though, after that I started to be rude again :p )

There are three conditions to get the Anarch ending. If any one of them is true, siding with the Anarchs becomes possible.

1. Nines isn't holding a grudge. If you were rude to him, but apologized, you can join him in the end.
2. In your conversations with Damsel, you agreed to join the Anarchs on the down low.
3. Damsel likes you.

All you have to do to join the Anarchs is meet any one of those criteria.

You pissed him off, but then you apologized in order to get the free point of melee from him. After that conversation, you don't get to speak to him again untili you meet up in Griffith park. During the whole Griffith park scene, you're trying to make an alliance with Anarchs and the Camarilla, so you don't have the option of being really rude to him.

So, by apologizing for your earlier disrespect in order to get a free stat boost from him, you ensured that he wouldn't hold a grudge against you and you were able to choose the Anarch ending. If you had never apologized, this option would not have been available to you.
