I wonder if there's any way to use the save game editor to convince the game that he's a class that can wear armor?

Like Zaalbar in KOTOR 1, it's not possible to equip any armour or visors. The most you can do is to equip him with implants. If a mod to equip Hanharr with visors or armour exists, I find it hard to imagine a wookie equipped with visors and armour, to be honest.

Tried it. There doesn't seem any way you can do it...no matter what clas you make him he can't equip armor
