*Confesses he didn't ACTUALLY read the whole thread*

Well after three weeks of not sleeping once before 3 AM, I just told myself - 'Screw you brain! I'm sleeping more often from now on.'
It kinda worked. I just substituted the video games for closing of the eyes and thinking about the video games.
I don't know how that would help you though...
IMHO, I'd simply have to say your screwed.
*shrugs*
Sorry.

I suggest trying to read a book that requires a lot of mental concentration... Like War and Peace... or Ulysses.Magrus wrote:I am reviving this thread, on the basis that sleep seems to hate me and I want to complain.Anyone out there have any hobbies they can suggest for someone who doesn't sleep?

Actually, I more so recommend Ulysses, it's an excellent work... I wouldn't really say that of the former. Crime and Punishment or The Brothers Karamazov are good as well.
Basically, any of those old classic novels seem to work well for me. I suspect it is because they require the mind to calm itself and focus, whereas the lighter fare still allows one's thoughts to roam everywhere.

That might be a good idea. I'll see if I can find one of those lying around at the used bookstore nearby. If not, I'll check out Barnes and Nobles. I think I still get a discount there until the end of the year. Failing that, I believe I still have a history book from High School and an english language rules book from college laying around. That should fix it if anything will.
