You're welcome.
Well if we won't see you for a while on the forums, we'll know where you are: wandering the streets of nighttime LA. ;)

So, I was playing Vampire: Bloodlines normally (but without any patches), when I started having trouble with some bugs and decided to install the patches.

After installing patch 1.2, the game simply won't load anymore. I tried istalling patch 2.9 and adjusting the virtual memory, but the problem won't go away.

I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the whole game several times, and even went as far as formating the HD and installing everything back again. No luck. The game will *not* load if patch 1.2 is installed. I did try downloading it again just in case the patch was corrupted, but the results were the same.

I noticed a .log file appears at C:\Program files\Activision\vampire-bloodlines after every crash, but I know next to nothing about computer stuff, so I'm unable to decipher it...

Here's what the file says:

* * * Vampire Crash Data Log, Generated From Exe Built On: Sep 24 2004 * * *

vampire caused a Breakpoint (0x80000003)
in module launcher.dll at 001b:100036cc.
