Imperial Cult Advancement (possible spoilers)

Post by mystikspiralfan »

I am currently an Invoker of the Imperial Cult and have completed the healer, almoner, and shrine sergeant quests, and got the journal topic for the first Oracle quest. My question is, will I be named Primate at the last Oracle quest like most factions do at the last quest, or will I have to work up to more ranks and earn it? And are there prizes for those two ranks like all the ones so far I've gained in this faction?

Actually, where factions are concerned the Cult is one of those exceptions in that you will likely be awarded the highest title possible long before you actually finish all of the quests available.

You get prizes all the way through, and the rewards you obtain while doing the Oracle quests are especially nice ;)

I'm not sure from your post whether you are aware of the rank of Theurgist, which is the one between Invoker and Primate. So you'll have to reach that rank before Primate.

Checking my notes, the last time I played the Imp Cult, I reached Primate rank before ever starting the Oracle quests. I got it after doing Kaye's Linus/Mount Kand quest. So you can get to Primate long before finishing the Imp Cult.

The rewards you get from doing the Oracle quests are the items you find when you do them. And they are some of the best items in the game. :)

Thanks for the responses. It seems I will have to train 1 skill to 80 or 90 instead of the 70 I expeceted to do so. I started at a low level so my skills didn't raise that much fast enough. (maybe because I did healer and almoner quests without leaving the room lol).
