Hung cutscenes

I've been having problems with the game stopping durring cutscenes. The game doesn't freeze or crash they just stop talking and no dialog options come up. Most of the time I can just reload and it will finish but the one on duxon (sp ) when you're going back to save the queen is just not going. I've tried leaving the planet and coming back, changing who's in my party walking to the camp insted of useing the guide, restarting my comp and even defraging just incase, but nothing seems to work.

Is there a fix for this type of thing or am I screwed ?

Hi DamonVille. Welcome to the forums. :)

About that problem, since you mentioned that reloading, defragging your hard drive and quite a few other methods, I might not be of much help here. :( However, I might suggest you head over to the Sith Lords Restoration Project (link) to search for a patch to this problem.

Hope this helps. :)

None of those DLs solved the problem I have now but they did explain why I couldn't finish some of the quests :)

Is there some kind of cheat I could use to force my way onto onderon or to skip this one bit of dialog ?

Sorry I didn't reply earlier. :( Well, you can try a save game editor. Never tried using one before so I'm not sure how it works. Try searching for it at Google. :)

Obvious question, but have you tried reloading a game from before you returned to Dxun and trying again? A lot of the bugs can be overcome that way.

When exactly are you getting the crash? When you first arrive on Dxun after getting the message to return?

Yeah I've tried reloading every save I have that's within an hr or so. I get the crash when I talk to the guide and the cutscene of the mandalorian starts telling me what's happening on onderan. I get the first two dialog options and then it goes back to the cutscene but he just stands there and it never finishes.

If I don't take the guide and just walk the game crashes loading the mandalorian camp.

Are you sure your disk isn't scratched or dirty? Sort of the same thing happened to me and I just took the disk out and cleaned it.It worked fine.

He tried that already and none of the fixes listed there solved his problem.
