Stuck game please help

Stuck game please help

i am playing fable TLC and completed the rescue scarlet robe quest. after completing i saved and turned the game off. when i turned it back on i loaded the save and tried to continue, but the guild says i need to rescue scarlet robe, and the logbook says i need to go to the ancient gate to hook coast. But when i go to the ancient gate, the undead dont come up for me to open it. Please help.

You are referring to the ancient cullis gate at Darkwood, is it? Hmm, that's strange. Have you tried reloading to your save after the rescue scarlet robe quest? Perhaps that may help. Also, don't try to dig up anything (or even do anything like opening chests or something) when you are doing the mission. I ever experience odd glitches as a result when I did that during the White Balverine Quest and it did happen in other quests as well.

thanks, but i forgot to add that before trying to go to hook coast, i did the 2 silver quests (bandit extraction and the other one). only after that did i find out what was wrong, so the game autosaved 2 times with the glitch, so i guess i'm stuck and have to restart. Thanks for the help though.
