Item ID question (Last played v1.0)

Now that I DLed v1.4, all weapons (regular and magical) no longer list their name and have X's for stats. I got item ID in an attempt to get the stats reveiled, but they still are unlisted. How do I get this information to be revieled? Thanks.

you need 5 to 10 points in the identify skill. Then right click on an item, and left click identify.

Or if you don't have the ID skill, you can pay someone in a shop to ID it for you
