old skool mud question

Post by stormrider27 »

Back in the stone age of BBS I used to play a turn based text rpg that took place in space. You were trying to start a corporation and traveld around in your ship tradeing fighting, and teraforming planets and such. You coulld upgrade to different classes of ships own planets etc.. Does anyone know what the name of the game was and if its still around anywhere???

TIA

I'm pretty sure I recall the one you mean: Federation II? Didn't it start on GEnie, then show up on AOL, as well? A friend of mine was one of the "high ranking" players in the former, and he passed along that the plug was pulled on both of 'em years ago.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
