*spoilers* cutscene bug HELP?!

Post by Revenant »

hey, this is prolly my 10th or so time through the game, and I have a problem. I just got the star forge quest from the council, and I'm going to my first planet with a star map. When I try to leave the planet, the movie plays and when it's over, I'm on the ebon hawk with a "cutscene" link in the passenger hold. I guess the cutscene didn't load or something? I'm running the latest patch, and I've tried going back to the last planet I was on, and I've tried disabling movies from my game and nothing works. I'm just stuck there no matter what planet I choose, (besides yavin and dantooine) but any other planet I try to go to this happens. Is there something that I can change with kse333? or is this a bug in the game that hasn't been addressed yet? any help would be appreciated. I don't want to have to do all of freaking taris over again, that planet takes forever to complete :) Thanks!

-Rev

P.S. if this question has previously been addressed please ket me know, and I'll go there to fix the problem, I couldn't find a problem like mine from the forum search though.

Hmm. This is a very strange bug indeed. Have you tried reloading to a previous save to see if this problem still persist or not? Another tip is to restart the game and load your last save to see if it helps (no, I'm not referring to replaying the whole game again). Hope this helps. :)
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

heh, that's the thing, I only used one save game and the auto save. I've played it through enough times I didn't think I needed several save slots this time through. This is the first time this has ever happened to me. I'm wondering if there may be some global boolean or numeric value that I can change with the kse333 editor, but that would take as long as replaying the game. *sighs*

I just tried again, and the cutscene still won't load.
