H@te posting, but searchin has taken 2 hours with no results so far. I teleport a lot between mages guild (no mods installed) and for *some* reason, the teleporter (tp girl? girl in the Ald-ruhn mages guild is gone! Disappeared! I havent killed her or anything... Anyone know the script to make her appear? Its a small annoyance, at most...
BTW - anyone ever played might and magic? Is there a spell like the Town Portal spell available in morrowind?
Go to the area she is supposed to be and open up the console by hitting the tilde (~) key. Then type in: RA
Hit "Enter"
Hopefully she will reappear. If that does not work, find her name (I can't recall it just now) and type into the console:
placeatpc "insert name" 1,1,1
Hit "Enter"
I haven't played Might and Magic so I'm not quite sure what you mean. But, there are teleportation spells in the game, if that is what you are referring to. "Almsivi Intervention," and "Divine Intervention" will warp you to the nearest shrines and temples while "Mark" and "Recall" allow you to mark a spot and return to it.

REF: Might and Magic: if you've never played, i recommend it. Im an avid follower. Town Portal: Cast the spell & a map appears showing the major towns, you choose which to teleport to by clicking on the map...now THAT would be great in this game! I frequently use Almsivi & Divine but why have 2 spells/rings that cast it when one would be better?

M&M teleport mechanics still divide up everything between mark and recall, only the choice between the two is made after casting the spell. In Morrowind, the choice is simply made with the spell selection.
While you can only mark and recall to one place in Morrowind, there are mods that allow as many as a dozen of each, and there are items crafted to return you to a specific place upon use or wearing.

The only problem with mods is that it takes as long to search these forums for an answer as it does to find a mod. Just as easy to move on and forget it (hence my earlier statement that i have no mods installed), but for MY particular instance DW was right, RA did it for me...and got rid of the annoying fact that the characters (over time) get out of their little area of walking and get in the way! It reset all of the characters...wonder if the dead ones are back?!
Oh, I'm not suggesting you use mods instead of RA. I'm just answering your question about why Mark/Recall was done the way it was in Morrowind, instead of in the M&M series. That's all. As for mods, there are 4000+ currently on the Web for Morrowind. Feel free to peruse those at leisure--if you wish.
